1. Quotation Handling

• Receive quotation requests from Sales/CS and provide accurate quotations within the committed lead time.
• Advise Sales/CS on optimal transport solutions in terms of cost, transit time, and service quality.

2. Cost Collection and Updates

• Collect and update costs for Air Freight, Sea Freight, Warehousing, Cross-Border Trucking (CBT), Local Trucking, customs declarations, and license application services.
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, overseas agents, and service providers to obtain competitive rates.
• Build, update, and maintain standard rate sheets for each trade lane and customer segment.

3. Market Analysis and Pricing Recommendations

• Monitor market rate fluctuations, space availability, and transport trends.
• Prepare market rate updates and provide pricing recommendations to the Pricing Supervisor or Manager.

4. Vendor Management and Development

• Maintain and expand a supplier network that includes shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, warehouses, and customs brokers.
• Compare rates from multiple sources and negotiate to optimize transportation costs.
• Regularly evaluate supplier performance based on price, service quality, and responsiveness.

5. Internal Coordination and Process Improvement

• Work closely with the Operations team to update information on transport capacity, additional costs, and market conditions.
• Recommend improvements to pricing policies and processes to shorten response times and increase efficiency.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Hold a university degree in Economics, Foreign Trade, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, including hands-on experience in Pricing and/or Procurement.
• Have experience working with airlines, shipping lines, and other vendors to obtain rates, prepare rate sheets, and recommend cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Be able to communicate in English by email and understand written English (Strong intermediate level)
• Be able to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel well
