About the role

Are you a proactive collaborator with clients management and product development background?

Do you enjoy transferring cultivated technology to growers and creating new market opportunities for Rijk Zwaan products through effective marketing strategies?

As a Product Development Specialist at Rijk Zwaan Vietnam, you will work closely with distributors, dealers, growers and other key customers, while collaborating with our R&D, Marketing and Product Development teams. You will have the opportunity to understand market needs, contribute to product and variety selection, and develop new business opportunities in the vegetable market.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for several clients in your assigned region and contribute to building sustainable business opportunities. Your key responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with distributors, dealers, nurseries, key growers and other relevant clients.

• Participate in product development activities and variety selection based on market needs and developments in your region.

• Carry out and participate in promotional and marketing activities to support product and market development.

• Proactively contribute to the development and communication of digital services within the subsidiary.

• Communicate market developments and product insights, and work closely with R&D, Marketing, Product Development and Sales teams.

• Take care of communication with relevant stakeholders and contribute to identifying and developing new business opportunities in your regional market.

What you bring

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys working with customers, understanding market needs and developing new opportunities.

You bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Business or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant working experience.

• Knowledge of and experience with commercial dynamics, including producer/buyer interactions.

• Knowledge of sales techniques and product development.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• A customer-service-oriented mindset and strong integrity.

• Good command of English for communication and collaboration in an international environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required by the role.

Experience or knowledge in vegetable seed commercial activities and/or product development would be a plus.
