A. Test Engineering Management

• Manage all Test Engineering activities from NPI through mass production.

• Develop test strategies and plans according to product and manufacturing requirements.

• Ensure test processes meet Quality, Reliability, Yield, and Production Capacity requirements.

• Establish and monitor Test Engineering KPIs.

• Plan and allocate manpower and resources based on production demand.

B. Test Program & Test Equipment

• Manage the development, validation, release, and maintenance of test programs.

• Manage ICT, FCT, ATE, test fixtures, and test jigs.

• Ensure proper version control and change management of test programs.

• Improve test coverage and reduce test time and false failures.

• Work with Equipment Engineering to ensure test equipment availability and reliability.

C. Debug & Failure Analysis

• Lead debug and failure analysis activities for failed products.

• Analyze test failures, defect patterns, and failure trends.

• Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Support Production in resolving critical issues affecting yield and output.

• Work with Quality and Process Engineering to resolve product and process-related defects.

• Monitor and improve FPY, Test Yield, and Overall Yield.

D. Data Analysis & Yield Improvement

• Monitor and analyze: Test Yield, FPY, Failure Rate, Defect Rate, Retest Rate, False Failure Rate, Test Coverage, Test Time

• Identify abnormal trends and improvement opportunities through data analysis.

• Lead projects to improve yield, reduce defects, and reduce test costs.

• Prepare regular performance reports for Management.

E. NPI & New Product Introduction

• Participate in NPI/EVT/DVT/PVT activities through mass production.

• Define test strategies and test requirements for new products.

• Work with NPI, Design Engineering, and Customer Engineering to establish test coverage.

• Ensure test equipment, fixtures, programs, and documentation are ready before mass production.

• Support product transfer from Engineering to Production.

F. Team Management & Development

• Lead, manage, train, and develop Test Engineers, Debug Engineers, and Technicians.

• Establish training plans and technical competency matrices.

• Conduct performance evaluations and development planning.

• Build a capable team that can independently handle test and debug issues.

• Assign tasks and manage team workload according to production requirements.

G. Cross-functional & Customer Support

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, NPI, and Supply Chain.

• Act as the technical focal point for critical Test and Debug issues.

• Work with HQ/Corporate Engineering and customers to resolve technical issues.

• Prepare and present Failure Analysis, Yield Improvement, 8D, and Corrective Action reports.

• Support customer audits and technical reviews when required.

H. Continuous Improvement

Lead and implement improvement projects including: Yield Improvement; Test Cost Reduction; Test Time Reduction; False Failure Reduction; Test Coverage Improvement; Test Automation; Process Optimization; Apply Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis methodologie

Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree or abo

• Or other related engineering fields.

• Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing and SMT/PCBA processes.

• Good knowledge of:

• Manufacturing Test Engineering

• Functional Test (FCT)

• In-Circuit Test (ICT)

• Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

• Test Fixture/Jig

• Test Program Development

• Debug & Failure Analysis

• PCBA Troubleshooting

• Good understanding of electronic components, schematics, PCB/PCBA, and electrical circuits.

• Knowledge of SPC, Yield, FPY,

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 is an advantage.

• Good English communication and technical documentation skills.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, or a related engineering field within the electronics industry.

• 3–5 years of experience in engineering team management.

• Strong experience in Test & Debug within SMT/PCBA manufacturing.

• Experience in developing, implementing, validating, and improving test programs and test fixtures.

• Experience in failure analysis and root cause analysis.

• Experience with NPI/New Product Introduction and mass production transfer.

• Experience working with HQ/Corporate Engineering and customers on technical and test-related issues is preferred.

• Experience in an FDI/electronics manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
