JOB OBJECTIVES

Responsible for assessing commercial feasibility, developing the medical product/service portfolio (medical devices, medicines, biotech products, etc.), and expanding the customer and distribution channel network (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, distributors) for the Vietnamese market; directly participating in negotiating and drafting agency/cooperation agreements with manufacturers and foreign partners; and coordinating relationships with medical institutions for partnership/JV projects. This position works closely with the Medical Regulatory Affairs Executive to ensure products under development are feasible from a registration/licensing standpoint.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product & Market Feasibility

● Proactively develop potential customers and distribution channel networks (hospitals, pharmacies, distributors) for the company's medical products.

● Conduct feasibility studies on prospective medical products (diagnostic devices, cell therapy products, pharmaceuticals, etc.) prior to Vietnam market entry: competitive mapping, market demand, affordability/insurance coverage.

● Perform preliminary assessment of regulatory barriers for each product category (coordinating with Regulatory Affairs for detailed review) to recommend development priorities.

● Recommend deprioritizing or postponing product categories with high legal/commercial risk based on research findings.

2. Agency & Partnership Agreement Development

● Support negotiation and drafting of exclusive agency/distribution agreements with foreign medical device manufacturers, including clause redlining and development of commercialization plan appendices.

● Draft company introduction materials and partnership proposals for JV discussions with partners (hospitals, biotech companies).

3. Clinical & Institutional Partnership Coordination

● Prepare meeting agendas and working documents with partner hospitals for cooperation/JV projects.

● Act as the liaison between the medical company and clinical institutions to align on cooperation scope and trial/pilot programs.

4. Expansion Support & Cross-functional Coordination

• Support research on product portfolio expansion (e.g., health/supplement products): competitive pricing benchmarking, identification of suitable KOL/KOC for Vietnamese-Chinese cross-border marketing campaigns.

• Proactively share product information and preliminary technical documentation with Regulatory Affairs to assess registration/licensing feasibility prior to signing agency agreements.

COMPETENCIES

● Graduated from College/University majoring in Pharmacy required; additional knowledge of Business Administration or Health Economics is a plus.

● Basic understanding of the medical device/pharmaceutical regulatory environment in Vietnam.

● Experience or capability in conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.

● English/Chinese language skills are an advantage for working with foreign manufacturers/partners.

● Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills, particularly with Regulatory Affairs and clinical stakeholders.
