Job location: Lancaster Luminaire, Láng, Hà Nội

Report to: Product Development Supervisor

Functional objectives

- Development new connectors and accessories acc. to specification following the HARTING specific procedures and methods.

Is responsible for

- Design 2D/3D connector concepts using NX CAD

- Assess technical feasibility and define materials per product requirements

- Conduct mechanical, thermal, and electrical analyses; perform tolerance and structural calculations

- Apply FMEA to identify and prevent potential design failures

- Build and test prototypes; evaluate test results and troubleshoot design issues

- Plan product validation; validate final designs against specifications

- Review Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and support Product & Process Approval

- Prepare and maintain technical documents: drawings, BOM, assembly and inspection guidelines

- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Purchasing teams

- Support product handover to mass production

- Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, ISO, RoHS, REACH, and other relevant standards

- Other duties assigned by the Supervisor and Manager.

University Education & Experience

- Experience in R&D or plastic product design and development (fresh graduates welcome)

Technical Skills

- Knowledge of CAD software (NX is an advantage)

- Basic understanding of mechanical, thermal, and electrical analysis

- Familiarity with FMEA, tolerance calculations, product validation, and ISIR

Soft Skills & Others

- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
