Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, identify opportunities in financial markets, and analyze market trends to support treasury business decisions and liquidity management.

• Develop, implement and periodically review treasury strategies and policies in line with the Company's business objectives.

• Assess current and projected funding requirements in coordination with business teams, and develop appropriate funding plans to support business growth.

• Manage relationships with domestic and international financial institutions to optimize the Company's fixed deposit placements and borrowing arrangements.

• Monitor and manage liquidity and interest rate risks, and establish and maintain appropriate risk management policies, procedures and limits.

• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to prudential ratios and safety limits applicable to securities companies.

• Manage treasury investment activities involving financial institution and government bonds, as well as bank borrowing activities.

• Prepare and coordinate treasury reports, funding plans and related submissions for internal management and group-level review and approval, as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

• University degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics or a related field.

• Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA or a Securities Practice Certificate are an advantage.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in treasury, money markets, asset and liability management (ALM), investment banking or corporate banking within banks, securities companies or other financial institutions, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Practical experience in funding mobilization, liquidity management, fixed deposit placements, borrowing arrangements and/or fixed-income investments.

• Good knowledge of funding processes and related documentation, as well as regulatory requirements applicable to securities companies, including prudential ratios and safety limits.

• Experience in managing reporting and approval processes within a group or multinational corporation is an advantage.

• Established relationships with domestic and international financial institutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess market developments and funding opportunities.

• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels.

• Good command of written and spoken English
