• Supplier Discovery & Evaluation: Identify, research, and screen potential factories, artisans, and raw material suppliers for woodenware and kitchenware products.
• RFQ & Cost Analysis: Request quotations, compile cost sheets, analyze pricing structures, and assist in negotiating competitive prices and payment terms.
• Sample Management: Coordinate sample development with suppliers, track production timelines, inspect sample quality against specifications, and manage feedback loops.
• Supplier Communication & Relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily vendor communications, order tracking, and production updates.
• Database & Documentation: Maintain accurate sourcing databases, supplier audit records, product specification files, and compliance documents (e.g., FSC certification, food-grade/FDA safety compliance).
• Market Research: Track raw material price trends (timber, finishes, food-safe coatings) and benchmark market competitor offerings.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, vendor management, or procurement (experience in wooden products, handicrafts, furniture, or home & kitchenware is a strong plus; passionate fresh graduates are welcome).
• Language Skills:
  • English: Professional fluency in written and spoken English (required for daily international/partner communication).
  • Other Languages: Proficiency in a second foreign language (e.g., Chinese/Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) is a strong advantage for vendor negotiation and factory visits.
• Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of wood materials, manufacturing processes, or kitchenware quality standards is preferred.
• Core Competencies: Excellent negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Software: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP or procurement tracking software.
• Mindset: Resourceful, adaptable, willing to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced startup environment.
