I. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Job Title: General Accoungtant (8 months contract - maternity leave replacement)

2. Report to: Finance Manager

3. Working Location: Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, Ba Ria & Vung Tau Province, Vietnam (Shuttle bus will be provided from 3 locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa City, and Vung Tau City)

II. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

- This role supports daily accounting operations, month-end and year-end closing, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies in a manufacturing environment.

III. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in the accounting system, including invoices, journal entries, and accruals.

• Reconcile accounts regularly, such as bank statements, intercompany balances, and general ledger accounts.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly classified and documented.

• Prepare journal entries, supporting schedules, and account reconciliations for month-end closing activities.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.

• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable; prepare and analyze aging reports.

• Prepare and submit VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory tax reports in compliance with local regulations.

• Support both internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to financial regulations.

• Track and reconcile inventory transactions, and support inventory counts, ensuring alignment between physical stock and accounting records.

• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, production, warehouse) to ensure accurate financial data and smooth month-end processes.

IV. ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
