About This Role

We are looking for Fresher Drafters who are willing to learn and develop their career in Australian residential building and construction documentation.

The role will support the Documentation Department in preparing Town Planning drawings, Working

Drawings, construction details, and other project documentation under the guidance of the Documentation Manager and senior team members.

Training will be provided. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn Australian housing standards, drafting procedures, and project documentation workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing Town Planning drawings, council submission documents, and Working Drawings.

- Support the preparation of construction details, including layouts, elevations, sections, joinery details, and RCP.

- Update drawings and documentation based on manager or senior team members’ instructions.

- Follow Nexgenus’s drafting standards, templates, and documentation procedures.

- Coordinate with senior team members, Technical Support, and internal teams when clarification is required.

- Maintain proper document control, versioning, and filing.

- Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and completed within assigned timelines.

- Learn and apply Australian residential construction knowledge, NCC, BCA, TP requirements, and company standards.

- Communicate in English with managers and team members for work-related matters when required.

*Work location: 7 Pasteur, Hai Chau, Da Nang, Vietnam.

Requirements:

- Fresh graduates or junior candidates in Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering, Drafting,

Interior Design, or related fields are welcome.

- Basic knowledge of residential construction drawings is preferred.

- Basic understanding of layouts, elevations, sections, joinery, RCP, or construction details is an advantage.

- Able to use Revit; basic AutoCAD skills are preferred.

- Good English communication skills

- Able to read and understand English project documents, mark-ups, emails, and instructions.

- Careful, detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.

- Good attitude and ability to follow instructions.

- Interest in Australian residential building and construction projects.

- Receive structured training from the beginning on Australian residential construction standards such as NCC, BCA, and Town Planning, as well as professional drawing and documentation processes.

- Receive direct mentorship from experienced Engineers and Team Leaders.

- Be provided with a high-performance workstation suitable for running Revit and AutoCAD.
