Financial Planning, Reporting & Oversight:

• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning tools.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management summaries.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
• Conduct cost analysis and monitor manufacturing costs, operating expenses, and key cost drivers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain effective financial and internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Monitor KPIs and key financial metrics.

Accounting Operations:

• Oversee daily accounting tasks: journal entries, general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and support external audits.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

• Monitor cash flow, manage bank relationships, and optimize working capital.
• Handle payment cycles, vendor disbursements, and collection from customers.
• Provide liquidity forecasts and ensure adequate cash reserves.

Compliance & Group Reporting:

• Ensure financial records comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Align local reporting with group accounting principles and participate in group consolidations.
• Act as liaison with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and industrial park management.

Payroll & Statutory Duties (support HR department):

• Support payroll calculations, payments, and statutory submissions.
• Ensure payroll is aligned with labor laws and employee agreements.

Administrative & Contractual Oversight:

• Support the management of key contracts such as facilities, services, and leasing agreements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during the facility construction and setup phases.
• Support general administrative tasks related to finance and operations.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or controlling roles, with substantial experience in manufacturing or production environment and proven experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, cost analysis, cost control, and operational financial performance.
• Deep understanding of VAS and local tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, financial data, and relevant legal and regulatory documents.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese (basic Chinese is a benefit, but not a requirement).
• Ability to work independently, in a startup environment, and across functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a greenfield/start-up manufacturing project.
• ACCA or equivalent professional certification.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS).
