3.1 Strategy and Planning

• Contribute to manufacturing strategy, annual business plans, budgets and departmental KPIs.
• Plan production capacity, manpower and equipment to meet business demands.
• Identify and lead improvement, automation and capital investment initiatives.

3.2 Production and Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficiency and effective resource utilisation.
• Ensure production targets, product quality and on-time delivery are achieved.
• Coordinate with Product Development on new product industrialisation and mass production.
• Control material usage, production yield, waste and inventory accuracy.

3.3 Quality and Product Safety

• Ensure products meet approved specifications and relevant international quality and safety standards.
• Oversee QA/QC operations and establish effective quality control throughout production.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions and customer complaint resolution.
• Ensure non-conforming products are properly controlled and quality standards are maintained.

3.4 Compliance, Health, Safety, Environment and CSR

• Ensure factory compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Promote workplace safety through risk assessments, preventive measures and employee training.
• Maintain social compliance, environmental and sustainability standards.
• Coordinate customer and third-party audits and ensure timely corrective actions.

3.5 Cost and Budget

• Manage factory operating costs, headcount and expenses within approved budgets.
• Drive productivity and cost optimisation without compromising quality or safety.
• Support product costing and quotations through accurate production cost data.

3.6 Maintenance and Equipment

• Ensure machinery, facilities and utilities are properly maintained through preventive maintenance programmes.
• Minimise equipment downtime and optimise maintenance resources.

3.7 People and Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop the factory management team and production workforce.
• Establish performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, recruitment, training and talent development.
• Build a disciplined, collaborative and performance-driven working culture.

3.8 Continuous Improvement

• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
• Apply data-driven management and performance monitoring to improve operational efficiency.

3.9 Reporting and Communication

• Provide regular reports to senior management on production, delivery, quality, cost, safety and workforce performance.
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate action plans.
• Represent the factory in customer meetings, visits and audits.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in a Factory Manager or Production Manager position.
• Proven experience managing a medium-to-large manufacturing facility or production workforce of 200+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, budgeting, cost control and workforce management.
• Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in furniture, woodworking, metalworking or export-oriented manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with international quality, product safety and social compliance standards is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
