JOB PURPOSE

The Expert, Operational Risk Management position plays a critical role in developing, operating and monitoring operational risk management system for a life insurance company. The main objective is to ensure that the company identifies, assesses, controls and mitigates operational risks arising from its insurance business

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Accountabilities (1)

- Implement effectively plan of the Operational Risk Management Framework for company

- Identify, assess and report operational risks and violations.

- Implement or recommend effective measures in control, remediation and prevention

- Organize and / or coordinate to implement plans, programs in talent development and building culture of managing operational risks'

- Support focal point for receiving and implementing Operational risk policies and tools in accordance with the company’s Operational Risk Management Framework.

- Participate in designing and implementing operational risk management tools

- Resolve cases and problems related to operational risks

- Support or be the focal point for interaction with functional departments in assessment, inspection, investigation, and supervision of Operational Risks

- Participate in managing operational risk portfolio control risk index within approved appetite / limits.

- Participate in reporting the current status of operational risks, propose appropriate control measures.

Other accountablities

- Conduct training, communication on compliance and control of operational risk

- Other tasks as requested

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Economics / Finance / Banking / Accounting /Audit

- Master's degree or higher is preferrable

Experiences

- Minimum 8 years in the position related to risk management / legal compliance / inspection and audit of the insurance, banking or financial industry

- Profound knowledge about products/services applied for customers in insurance industry

- Working experience about policies/procedures in insurance industry.

English proficiency

Minimum TOEIC 550 or equivalent
