Duties and responsibilities:

Role Overview: Responsible for delivering and overseeing engineering documents across projects, ensuring that all designs strictly comply with technical, regulatory, and project-specific requirements within agreed deadlines.

- Maintains regular communication with the Proposal Engineer to ensure clarity on project requirements, scope, and client expectations.

- Review client requirements, specifications, and engineering standards to develop design documents to a project-ready level.

- Collaborate with internal disciplines and colleagues to discuss technical matters, optimize solutions, and resolve project-related issues.

- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including but not limited to engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts, datasheets, procedures, installation manuals, and calibration/testing reports, ensuring accuracy and technical quality.

- Deliver engineering documentation within agreed project deadlines and follow the engineering scope through all execution stages, from initial design to final as-built documentation.

- Ensure all designs strictly comply with Partner’s/Client's engineering standards and relevant international regulations, including NORSOK, ISO, EN, DNV, NFPA, and Equinor TR.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Mechanical or Process Engineering; Master’s degree in mechanical, Technical Safety, or Process Engineering (preferred).

- Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering experience in EPC, offshore, maritime, or industrial sectors. (8+ years of engineering experience with project lead or discipline lead responsibilities in firefighting systems is preferred).

- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering, firefighting systems, piping systems, hydraulics, and systems design.

- Ability to read, understand, and produce P&IDs, GA drawings, Datasheets, and perform technical design validation/calculations.

- Basic understanding of instrumentation principles.

- Strong competence in fire system design and integration with mechanical interfaces (preferred).

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; proficiency in Pipenet is highly preferred.

- Good level of English proficiency (both vocal and written).

- Working knowledge of engineering processes, document control, and QA/HSE requirements.

- Clear understanding of project execution phases (engineering, procurement, FAT, commissioning), classification of society requirements, and lifecycle management.

- Strong command of industry standards (NORSOK, ISO, DNV, NFPA, Equinor TR, etc.).

- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, solution-oriented mindset, high degree of independence and responsibility, proactive, structured, and quality-driven.
