Duties and responsibilities:

- Role Overview: Plays a key role in securing new business by developing and delivering high-quality technical and commercial proposals that meet client specifications and support the company’s strategic business goals. Bridges the gap between sales, engineering, procurement, and project management teams.

- Review tender documents, invitation to tender (ITT), and client specifications to clearly define technical and commercial requirements.

- Prepare complete, compliant, and competitive technical and commercial proposals within strict bidding deadlines.

- Develop detailed cost estimates, pricing, and commercial valuations for firefighting and safety systems.

- Communicate and coordinate with vendors, sub-suppliers, and 3rd-party agencies to issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing/delivery, and clarify technical compliance and certification scope.

- Work closely with the internal Engineering Team to confirm design feasibility, review P&IDs and GA drawings, select materials, and collaborate with Supply Chain regarding frame agreements.

- Prepare project cashflow and EPMS (Engineering Procurement Manufacturing Schedule) to ensure smooth project handover and execution planning.

- Participate in client clarification meetings, respond to technical/commercial queries (TBCs), and support negotiations leading to contract award.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum); Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (preferred). PMP Certification is preferred.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals for firefighting or process systems. (5+ years of experience in proposal management for offshore/onshore energy or EPC projects is preferred).

- Familiarity with firefighting equipment, ability to read and produce P&IDs, GAs, Datasheets, piping knowledge, understanding of mechanical engineering, technical calculations, and fire system integration.

- Advanced level English proficiency (both vocal and written).

- Commercial & Proposal Knowledge: Strong commercial awareness, including cost estimation methods, tender evaluation, Incoterms, payment milestones, risk management, and project documentation requirements.

- Comprehensive understanding of offshore project execution processes, classification of society requirements, and industry standards (NORSOK, Equinor TR, etc.).

- Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills, with a strategic mindset and leadership qualities to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
