• Team Leadership and Development
• Lead, train, and develop claims assessors to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure consistent decision-making.
• Provide coaching and professional guidance, particularly to team members with non-medical backgrounds.
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance, and support the resolution of complex claims.
• Claims Operations Management
• Oversee the end-to-end life insurance claims assessment process.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, service-level agreements, and turnaround time standards.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency in claims decisions.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve claims-related complaints and disputes.
• Risk Management and Reporting
• Analyze claims data to identify trends, emerging risks, and unusual patterns.
• Strengthen the detection and prevention of claims fraud and abuse.
• Prepare regular reports and provide insights to support management decisions.
• Process Improvement
• Drive claims process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve productivity, service quality, and turnaround time.
• Participate in system enhancements and automation projects.
• Cross-functional Collaboration and Compliance
• Develop team capabilities to support the expansion of responsibilities across Life and Health claims.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Accounting, Legal, Sales, and other stakeholders to align risk assessment and claims handling practices.
• Work with policyholders, insurance agents, independent loss adjusters, and external service providers as required.
• Represent the company in interactions with regulatory bodies and third parties when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; a medical background is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role within claims.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance products, claims procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of Life and Health insurance.
