• Design, implement, and continuously refine the AML/KYC framework for the Vietnam entity to ensure full compliance with local regulations and global standards.

• Establish and own internal compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks, including AML/CFT, KYC/CDD/EDD standards, customer risk classification, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Oversee and supervise the execution of KYC/AML activities by operational teams, ensuring adherence to Compliance-approved policies and timely escalation of high-risk or suspicious cases.

• Monitor and review all ongoing transactions, identify suspicious activities, and ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities.

• Act as the primary liaison with the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Ministry of Finance (MOF), and other relevant regulators for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive compliance training programs for employees, promoting awareness of regulatory requirements and adherence to operational standards.

• Escalate material compliance risks to the Board of Directors, including recommendations to restrict or suspend activities, products, or listings where necessary.

• Report directly to the Board of Directors and maintain functional independence from business and operational teams in all compliance assessments and decisions.

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a strong advantage.

• Professional compliance, AML, or risk management certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, ICA) are highly desirable.

• Solid understanding of Vietnamese regulatory frameworks, financial laws, and digital asset regulations

2. Experience:

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in compliance, regulatory, and risk management roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership position (Head of Compliance, Deputy CCO, or equivalent) within a Fintech, Crypto, or Financial Services organization.

• Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and managing AML/KYC frameworks, transaction monitoring, and compliance programs in regulated markets.

• Proven track record liaising with regulators, auditors, and external advisors, ensuring full compliance and successful regulatory audits.

• Strong understanding of Vietnam’s regulatory landscape, particularly in digital assets, fintech, or banking sectors.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing compliance teams in a fast-paced, high-growth, or start-up environment.
