Collaborate with Business Finance Partners (BBF) and the Management Accounting team to control monthly sales expenses across domestic and international markets, including Trade Promotion, Discounts, Salesforce, Trading Terms, Visibility, Innovation Projects, and other commercial activities initiated by International Sales or Shopper Marketing teams.

Perform monthly closing activities for Discounts, Innovation Projects, Salesforce, Trading Terms, Visibility, Trade Promotion, and other commercial activities to ensure accurate financial records and reporting across domestic and international markets.

Review and control commercial proposals to assess accounting impacts, and develop efficient closing processes to meet financial and management accounting deadlines.

Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between planned budgets and actual expenses related to Discounts, Sales Expenses, Salesforce, Trading Terms, Visibility, Innovation Projects, and other commercial activities.

Design and maintain a centralized data repository or dashboard for commercial expenses, integrating non-financial data and performance ratios to support commercial analysis.

Implement validation procedures for payment and reimbursement documents related to sales expenses, and establish clear documentation standards and approval matrices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective process control.

Prepare sales performance reports, including Monthly Rolling Forecasts (MUF) and Annual Plans (AP), ensuring timely submission and data accuracy.

Ensure accurate justifications and complete documentation for tax and audit requirements related to promotion and loyalty expenses, display costs, discounts, trading terms, sales expenses, and other commercial expenses.

Conduct ad hoc analyses, including business case development, Channel P&L analysis, and other assignments as directed by the line manager.

3-4 years of experience in an Accountant or similar role.

Preference for candidates with experience in the FMCG industry or working with distribution channels, including Export, Domestic, General Trade (GT), and Modern Trade (MT).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage.

Familiarity with and ability to effectively use accounting systems/ERP systems.

Good understanding of accounting processes and financial data management.
