Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the execution and management of mechanical engineering projects, particularly in the water and wastewater treatment field. The role will be responsible for project execution, quality, cost and schedule control, as well as technical documentation and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and piping systems in accordance with Vietnamese standards, Industrial Estate requirements, and relevant technical specifications.

• Prepare Material Quantity Take-Offs (MTO) based on approved drawings and project requirements.

• Take responsibility for mechanical quality control throughout project execution.

• Monitor project cost, schedule, and quality to ensure effective and timely project delivery.

• Participate in site work, installation, inspection, and project implementation as required.

• Clarify technical matters and revise project documents based on comments and requirements from the Client/Consultant.

• Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Prepare and submit weekly reports on work progress and project activities to the Project Manager, Client, and Consultant.

• Prepare, manage, and maintain project-related technical documents, procedures, and reports.

• Prepare operation manuals, collect manufacturers’ instruction manuals, and compile relevant documents for customer handover.

• Coordinate with other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.

• Perform other project and mechanical engineering-related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader/Department Manager.

Must-have Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or project execution.

• Experience working in water & wastewater treatment projects.

• Good understanding of project execution procedures.

• Good English communication skills.

• Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/CAD.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment or environmental engineering projects.

• Experience in building, construction or industrial projects.

• Experience in project cost, schedule and quality control.

• Experience coordinating with multiple engineering teams and contractors.
