The Application Support Officer is responsible for ensuring the stable operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications. The role focuses on application monitoring, incident resolution, user support, system testing, and continuous improvement to ensure business operations run smoothly.

1. Application Monitoring & Support

• Monitor application performance and perform routine health checks.

• Provide application support and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely resolution.

• Coordinate with users, vendors, and internal teams to investigate and resolve incidents.

• Support application deployment, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

• Maintain application documentation, user guides, and support procedures.

• Escalate complex issues and follow up until resolution.

2. Support Project

• Support UAT activities, including test data preparation, data synchronization, and environment support for new projects and system enhancements.

• Assist users during testing, troubleshoot issues, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.

3. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve application performance and support processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement system enhancements.

• Continuously update knowledge of supported applications and business processes.

4. Shift Support

• Being available to work in shifts, including weekends, public holidays, or on-call support when required.

• Support critical incidents and production issues outside normal business hours to ensure system availability.

1. Qualification

• University Degree majored in Information Technology

2. Work Experience

• Minimum 03 years working experience in Software development and Application support.

• Have working experience in Finance/Banking/Insurance is a plus.

3. Knowledge

• Monitor and do health check to ensure applications are in good status

• Able to communicate effectively with different stake holders

• Good at business analysis and system analysis.

• Consult effective solutions for BUs.

• Good at trouble shooting, root cause analysis

• Support BA & Technical roles in the projects of development team

• Knowledge on software development even join development team to develop when necessary

• At least 3 years’ experience in Software development and application support

4. Skills

• Experience on application development and deployment (DevOps)

• Experience on either Java, PL/SQL.

• Good experience on ITIL framework and process.
