JOB OVERVIEW

As the Business Development Manager, you will own AWING’s sales growth through media agency partnerships. You will lead the full sales cycle, from building agency relationships, hunting opportunities, pitching solutions, and negotiating to closing deals, while driving agency adoption of AWING’s Location-Based Media solutions.

Your mission is to win more media budgets from global agencies, grow strategic accounts, and make AWING a go-to solution in their multichannel media plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Business Development Manager at AWING, you will leverage your understanding of how agencies develop media strategies, pitch to clients, and allocate media budgets to identify new business opportunities, pitch AWING’s advertising solutions, and drive revenue growth across the agency ecosystem.

1. Agency Partnerships & Solution Pitching

• Develop, grow, and manage business partnerships with global media agencies that expand AWING’s presence across agency networks, client portfolios, and integrated media plans.
• Identify and approach potential agency partners, key stakeholders across leading media agencies, preferably big4 global agency networks in Vietnam.
• Understand agency portfolios, client needs, and media investment priorities to unlock opportunities for AWING’s advertising solutions.
• Develop and deliver tailored proposals and pitches, positioning AWING as a valuable addition to integrated or multichannel media plans.
• Strengthen AWING’s positioning and influence within the marketing and media industry.

2. New Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth

• Own the end-to-end sales pipeline, from prospecting and acquisition to pitching, negotiation, deal closure, and onboarding.
• Own sales performance and revenue targets, including pipeline development, opportunity prioritization, forecasting, and conversion, to deliver business objectives.
• Convert new agency partnerships into advertising bookings and grow revenue across agency portfolios.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
• Must-have: Proven experience working at or directly with global agencies, preferably in Client Service, Group Head, Business Development, or Account Management roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in the advertising/media industry, including at least 3 years in business team leadership or high-standard sales operations.
• Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, agency business models, and media channel allocation insight.
• Demonstrated ownership of sales targets, business development plans, and revenue growth.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with strong pipeline management, forecasting, and execution skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, including with senior stakeholders.
• English: Proficient in English for professional communication (equivalent to IELTS 6.5); Strong speaking skill is a plus.
