Accounting executive

Overall purpose of the job: Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting data, executing monthly financial closing, preparing management reports, supporting inventory/costing management, and supervising daily operations of team members
1. General Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Monitor accounting data: verify, and ensure all daily accounting entries, vouchers, and transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with VAS and company regulations.
• Financial Closing: Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures in a timely manner.
• Financial & Management Reports: Prepare draft Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) and internal management reports for Accounting Manager review.
2. Cost Accounting & Inventory Control
• Product Costing: Calculate, monitor, and analyze product manufacturing costs
• Inventory Reconciliation: Supervise inventory accounting, reconcile physical stock count results with system data, and process inventory adjustments/ write-offs or devaluation when required.
• Cost Control: Work closely with the related departments to monitor material consumption rates and operational cost drivers.
3. Budgeting & Budget Controlling
• Budget Preparation: Assist the Accounting Manager in gathering departmental data to draft annual company-wide budgets.
• Budget Tracking & Control: Continuously monitor departmental spending against approved budgets to prevent cost overruns.
• Variance Reporting: Prepare monthly "Budget vs. Actual" variance reports and highlight abnormal expenses to management.
4. Team Supervision & Guidance
• Operational Supervision: Supervise, assign, and review tasks performed to team members.
• Workflow Efficiency: Support the Manager in monitoring team KPIs, reviewing work quality, and optimizing accounting procedures.
5. Other Duties
Execute other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT
1. Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
• Solid understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and ability to apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Preferable: ACCA, CPA, or Chief of Accounting
2. Years of experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience in costing for the manufacturing company (including inventory control for material, WIP, and finished goods valuation)
• At least 3 years as a general accountant for a manufacturing company. Specifically, in charge of: Monthly closing process, preparing reports: monthly/quarterly/annually financial statements, costing report, and explaining details to superiors.
Preferable requirements:
• Experience in Managerial accounting, such as:
• Company-wide budget preparation,
• Analyze the differences between budget vs actual.
• Analysis report
• Experience in an FDI company is preferred
3. PC skills
• Offices
• SAP experience or other ERP system is preferred
4. Language skill : Speak English fluently
5. Other skills
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team.
• Specifically: supervising the daily work performance of the accounting team and monitoring team KPIs
Management skill (Preferable Requirements):
• Strong communication, presentation, and staff training skills.
6. Other requirements

• Flexible in multicultural environments and able to work under high pressure.

Working time:  7:30 – 17:30, from Monday to Friday
