As our Trade Execution Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of international commodity contracts, helping protect GrainCorp's commercial interests while delivering exceptional service to customers and stakeholders.

Working within our International Business team, you'll coordinate the end-to-end execution of bulk and container trades, acting as the key link between Trading, Chartering, Finance and external partners including customers, suppliers, shipping lines, vessel owners and banks. You'll help ensure contracts are executed accurately, risks are managed proactively, and shipments move seamlessly from origin through to final delivery.

• Managing the end-to-end operational execution of commodity contracts from confirmation through to final delivery and settlement.
• Coordinating with suppliers, customers, shipping lines, agents, surveyors, banks and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contract execution.
• Monitoring shipment schedules and overseeing all aspects of trade execution across bulk and container markets.
• Preparing, reviewing and managing trade documentation, including Letters of Credit and other shipping and contractual documentation.
• Tracking accruals, contract costs, invoicing and payments to support effective commercial outcomes.
• Identifying, escalating and helping resolve operational, contractual and financial risks.
• Maintaining accurate contract and shipment records across company systems and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and internal policies.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance execution efficiency and stakeholder experience.

About You

You bring strong international trade execution experience and thrive in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. You are highly organised, solutions-focused and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You'll also have:

• Experience in international trade execution across grains, bulk and containerised shipments.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020, particularly FOB and CIF.
• Experience working with GAFTA and FOSFA contracts.
• Sound understanding of Letters of Credit (UCP600), Documentary Collections (URC522) and related trade documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with laytime principles and calculations.
• Strong commercial awareness, including understanding cost structures, freight rates, accruals and payment flows.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to identify and manage operational and contractual risks while driving outcomes to completion.
• A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to embrace new technologies and ways of working.
