Currently, Rapid Aid Vietnam is open for the position of Senior Sourcing Staff. This role is responsible for managing sourcing activities, identifying and developing suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement solutions to support the company’s operational and business goals.

1. Key Responsibilities

1.1. Strategic Sourcing Execution

• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories/projects in alignment with regional/global procurement direction.

• Conduct supply market analysis, including supplier landscape, cost drivers, and industry trends.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance supply base competitiveness and innovation.

1.2. RFQ Management & Commercial Negotiation

• Analyze quotations, perform cost benchmarking, and conduct value analysis.

• Lead price negotiations and commercial discussions (pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions

1.3. Cost Optimization & Spend Management

• Perform spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities across categories.

• Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering, and supply chain optimization.

• Monitor price trends and manage purchasing price deviations.

1.4. Supplier Management

• Manage supplier lifecycle including qualification, audit, contract management, and performance evaluation.

• Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews (quality, cost, delivery, service).

• Optimize supplier base to ensure efficiency, risk mitigation, and long-term partnerships.

1.5 Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with project teams, supply chain, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure sourcing alignment.

• Support resolution of supplier-related issues (quality, delivery, cost deviations).

1.6 Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor market trends, new technologies, and emerging suppliers.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and sourcing efficiency.

• Perform other tasks assigned by line manager.

2. Work Environment

• Work in office and factory/workshop environments.

• Frequent interaction with suppliers; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in multinational manufacturing companies.

• Experience in chemical or FMCG packaging categories is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of supplier markets in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

• Good understanding of cost structures, market dynamics, and sourcing strategies.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Chinese is a plus.

• Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
