1. Shopify App Architecture

• Design, develop, and deploy a secure, scalable custom Shopify application using Node.js/TypeScript, React, and/or Shopify Remix.
• Integrate Shopify GraphQL Admin API, Metafields/Metaobjects, Webhooks, and Theme App Extensions.

2. 2D Personalization Engine

• Build a real-time browser-based design editor using Fabric.js or a similar 2D graphics framework.
• Support layered text, images, clipart, custom fonts, cropping, resizing, rotation, positioning, and advanced typography such as curved text and text stroke.
• Implement printable areas, safe areas, and design validation.
• Save and restore customer designs using a structured JSON representation.

3. Production File Generation

• Generate production-ready vector files (PDF/SVG) and high-resolution raster assets (PNG, 300+ DPI where applicable), preserving the exact customer-approved design dimensions and coordinates.
• Ensure production output accurately matches the customer-facing preview in layout, typography, positioning, scaling, and transformations.
• Use server-side graphics/image-processing tools such as Sharp, ImageMagick, Cairo, or equivalent.

4. Storefront Integration

• Integrate the personalization experience into the Shopify theme using Theme App Extensions / App Blocks.
• Ensure responsive behavior and minimize impact on storefront performance and Core Web Vitals.

5. Product Configuration & Rules

• Build a configurable rules engine that controls dependencies between product options.
• Dynamically control available materials, colors, fonts, layouts, and formatting options based on product configuration.
• Allow new product configurations to be added or modified without requiring code changes for every new product.

6. Order, Asset & Production Pipeline

• Capture and persist customer personalization data throughout the shopping and checkout process.
• Process Shopify Order Webhooks and associate customer designs with the corresponding order.
• Automatically trigger production file generation after an order is created.
• Implement reliable background processing with job queues, retries, error handling, and idempotency.
• Securely upload, validate, optimize, store, and retrieve customer assets using cloud storage such as AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building custom Shopify apps.
• Strong experience with Shopify GraphQL Admin API, Webhooks, Metafields/Metaobjects, and Theme App Extensions.
• Strong Full-Stack JavaScript/TypeScript experience with React.js and Node.js.
• Deep practical experience with at least one 2D graphics framework such as Fabric.js, PixiJS, Paper.js, or SVG.js.
• Strong understanding of 2D graphics concepts including coordinate systems, transformations, scaling, rotation, clipping, text rendering, and image manipulation.
•  Experience with server-side image processing or document generation using Sharp, ImageMagick, Cairo, or similar tools.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, asynchronous jobs, cloud storage, and production backend services.

Nice to have: 

• Experience building Print-on-Demand (POD) design panels, product configurators, visual editors, or personalization tools.
• Experience with 2D perspective warping or transformation to simulate curved products such as tumblers, mugs, or bottles.
• Basic knowledge of Three.js / WebGL / 3D product mockups.
• Experience with print production workflows and print-ready asset generation.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus.
• Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for graphics-heavy or image-processing workloads.
