Job Purpose or Summary

The SEO Team Leader owns organic search performance for pharmacity.vn (website and app landing pages): organic traffic, organic GMV and search visibility across Google, Cốc Cốc and AI-powered search surfaces.

The role leads technical SEO, SEO content and off-page activities for a large e-commerce catalogue and health-related content, ensuring all SEO work follows search engine guidelines and pharmaceutical advertising regulations.

As a Team Leader, the role manages the SEO Specialist and agency partners, builds documented SEO standards and reports SEO results to the Digital & CRM Manager.

Main Responsibilities

SEO strategy & roadmap

• Own the SEO roadmap aligned with e-commerce, category and campaign priorities; set organic traffic and visibility targets with the Digital & CRM Manager.
• Benchmark competitors in Vietnam and identify keyword and content gaps.

Technical SEO

• Own the technical health of pharmacity.vn: crawlability, indexation, sitemaps/ robots.txt, canonical logic, structured data and Core Web Vitals.
• Fix issues at template level through dev-ready tickets for the Web & App Development team; verify before and after release.
• Run recurring site-wide audits and maintain an SEO checklist for every web/ app release.

Content SEO

• Lead Vietnamese-first keyword research and maintain the keyword map by page type (product, category, health article).
• Own on-page optimization: title, meta description, heading structure and internal linking.

AI-search visibility (GEO/ AEO)

• Optimize content and structured data for AI Overviews and LLM citation; monitor Pharmacity’s presence in AI-generated answers.

Off-page SEO

• Earn quality backlinks through partnerships, PR and brand co-content — no paid-link or black-hat schemes; monitor the backlink profile.

Performance measurement & reporting

• Own the SEO dashboard (GA4, Databricks) and deliver monthly SEO performance reports with insights and actions.

Team & vendor management

• Manage, coach and develop the SEO Specialist; manage SEO agency and tool vendors (brief, SLA, quality, budget).

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with Web & App Development, Category/ Trading, Brand & Trade Marketing and BI on releases, new SKU launches, campaign landing pages and tracking; communicate SEO priorities and results to stakeholders.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Digital Marketing.
• 4 years of hands-on SEO experience, including 1 years leading people or agency. Healthcare/ pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Good working English (reading documentation, working with tools, vendors and Google guidelines). 
• Strong understanding of Google Search guidelines, E-E-A-T principles and awareness of Vietnamese pharmaceutical advertising regulations.
• Data-driven: builds dashboards, reads GA4/ Search Console/ SQL output and turns it into prioritised actions.
• Ability to write clear, dev-ready tickets and to work with developers and product owners on release planning.
• Project management, stakeholder communication and the ability to explain SEO trade-offs in business terms.
