Senior UX Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who can design clear, usable, and human-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.

This role is responsible for translating customer needs, business goals, product requirements, and data signals into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI specifications, and practical UX improvements.

The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, collaborative, and willing to use AI First practices to improve research, ideation, documentation, and design productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Experience Design

• Design user journeys, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI screens for digital products.

• Translate business requirements and customer insights into clear, usable design solutions.

• Improve key journeys such as onboarding, discovery, transaction, service, support, and retention.

• Review existing experiences and propose improvements based on usability, customer pain points, and product performance.

• Work closely with Product, Technology, Business, Marketing, CX, Data, Operations, and Compliance teams.

2. Research & Testing

• Support desk research, competitor review, user interviews, usability testing, and journey analysis.

• Translate findings into insights, design opportunities, and product recommendations.

• Use UX metrics where relevant, such as task success rate, completion time, error rate, satisfaction score, or SUS.

3. Prototyping & Documentation

• Create low to high-fidelity prototypes to communicate and validate design ideas.

• Prepare design documentation, including screen logic, interaction rules, edge cases, empty states, error states, and handover specifications.

• Work with developers to ensure implementation quality and experience consistency.

4. Design System & Quality

• Apply and contribute to design system components, patterns, layout rules, and interaction standards.

• Ensure consistency, accessibility, readability, and responsive design quality across platforms.

• Identify UX debt and propose practical improvements.

5. AI First Practice

• Use AI tools to support research synthesis, ideation, UX writing, documentation, design QA, and workflow optimization.

• Apply AI responsibly with human judgment, customer context, and data privacy awareness.

• Explore ways to improve design speed, consistency, and quality through AI-assisted workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, UI/UX Design, or Experience Design.

• Strong portfolio across web and mobile products, preferably in fintech, banking, securities, investment, insurance, or complex digital services.

• Strong understanding of human-centered design, usability, interaction design, and information architecture.

• Experience creating user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI designs, and design specifications.

• Experience supporting user research and usability testing.

• Proficiency in Figma and modern collaboration tools.

• Understanding of design systems, responsive design, accessibility, and digital product delivery.

• Experience working with Agile or cross-functional product teams.

• Familiarity with AI tools for design, research, writing, or documentation is a plus.

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end constraints is a plus.
