About the Role

• We are looking for experienced SAP FI Consultants to join a growing SAP delivery team supporting S/4HANA Finance projects across implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, and application support.
• The role offers opportunities to work across different Finance streams, depending on your expertise and project requirements. We are particularly interested in professionals with strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Receivables, Payment & Financial Transactions
• Financial Closing & Prepaid Expense
• Tax & VAT
• You will work closely with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and international stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI functional solutions.
• Configure, enhance, and support SAP Finance processes in S/4HANA environments.
• Work with relevant business and technical teams to ensure smooth integration between FI and other SAP modules.
• Prepare functional documentation and specifications for system enhancements, interfaces, reports, and technical developments.
• Coordinate with ABAP, Fiori, integration, and other technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Investigate functional issues, identify root causes, and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Support SAP implementation, global rollout, migration, enhancement, and AMS projects.
• Work with international stakeholders and participate in projects requiring cross-border collaboration or onsite support.

Functional Areas

• Depending on your background, you may take ownership of one or more of the following areas:
• 1. Receivables, Payment & Financial Transactions
• Support SAP FI processes covering Accounts Receivable, payment, clearing, and reconciliation.
• Work on receivables monitoring and overdue receivables processes.
• Support financial transaction processing and related accounting requirements.
• Work with processes involving hedging / financial contracts and offset payment where applicable.
• Coordinate with SD, CO, Treasury, and other teams to ensure end-to-end financial process integration.
• Support reconciliation and period-end activities related to receivables and payment transactions.
• 2. Financial Closing & Prepaid Expense
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Configure and maintain processes related to prepaid expenses, including recognition, allocation, amortization, and accounting entries.
• Handle reconciliation, adjustment, accrual, and closing-related activities.
• Support financial closing processes involving HR-related transactions and their integration with FI where applicable.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives for financial closing.
• Work with CO, MM, SD, HR, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• 3. Tax & VAT
• Configure and support SAP tax and VAT processes, including tax codes, procedures, accounts, and related accounting rules.
• Support input/output VAT processing, reconciliation, and tax-related postings.
• Analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP solutions.
• Work with FI, MM, SD, and other teams to ensure correct tax determination and accounting treatment.
• Support tax-related month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Contribute to tax reporting, electronic invoicing, and integration with external tax systems where applicable.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and financial accounting processes.

- Solid hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas

• Accounts Receivable / Receivables & Payment
• Financial Closing / Prepaid Expense
• Tax & VAT
• Good understanding of integration between FI and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, CO, HR, and Treasury.
• Experience with SAP configuration, functional analysis, troubleshooting, and business process improvement.
• Ability to prepare Functional Specifications and work effectively with technical development teams.
• Experience participating in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, or support projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working with international stakeholders and distributed project teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours depending on project requirements and business coverage.
• Willingness to travel or undertake short- or long-term overseas assignments when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in global implementation or rollout projects.
• Experience working in AMS / application support environments.
• Experience with financial process automation or workflow optimization.
• Exposure to international tax requirements or multi-country SAP implementations.
• Experience integrating SAP with electronic tax invoice or external tax platforms.
• SAP FI / S/4HANA certification is an advantage.
• Experience with Korean or other international business environments is a plus.
