English requirement: Intermediate or above English language skills as all our accounting work is in English and you must be confident in written English. You will need to be able to communicate with client managers on day-to-day basis.

You will be expecte

You will be expected to do the following tasks:

• Prepare annual Australian Income Tax Returns.

• Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships.

• Accounting for fixed assets & fixed assets management.

• Preparing depreciation schedules.

• Perform account/transactions reconciliation and resolve/report the reconciling items.

• Prepare workpapers with supporting documents.

• Prepare quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)

• Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger Maintenance and Bookkeeping.

• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

• Understanding of the different business structure in Australia: Companies, Trust, Partnership, Individuals.

We're looking for someone with (in priority order):

• Experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant

• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop junior staff (this is critical for the role)

• Experience with Xero/MYOB and the Microsoft Office suite

• Ready to commit to the Australian Taxation for the next 3 years

• Excellent communication & writing skills, Good command of English (IELTS 6.5 equivalent).

• Having high attention to detail, and being precision-oriented, having OCD traits is welcome.

• Excellent applying of methodical and logical process.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment effectively, with minimal supervision

• Being self-motivated, working under high pressure, and organised.

• Knowledge of Australian taxation legislation is an advantage.
