Senior Architectural Designer (Residential Projects)

Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to support, manage, and review project design drawings for residential and mixed-use developments invested by Lotte Land and its SPCs in Vietnam. The position may involve working concurrently for Lotte Land and its SPCs, depending on project requirements.

• Conduct surveys of surrounding competitive projects, including drawings, parameters, images, and finishing materials.

• Translate architectural design documents at each stage for master planning or submission purposes.

• Coordinate with internal teams (development, marketing/sales, construction, legal, etc.).

• Negotiate design issues with partner companies and arrange meetings as needed.

• Support and prepare feasibility studies and design schemes for design reviews.

• Supervise ongoing project design schedules and provide timely updates.

• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports highlighting project status and issues.

• Act proactively as the main coordinator for design-related matters.

• Research and report on recent projects in Vietnam from a design perspective.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Director and Design Director.

• Minimum

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design (residential project experience preferred).

• Proven experience in preparing feasibility study reports, developing basic design, and executing detailed technical design for projects.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp (3D), etc.

• Strong creativity and awareness of the latest market trends.

• Broad knowledge across housing development fields (design, marketing/sales, construction, legal, finance/accounting, etc.).

• Solid understanding of Vietnamese regulations and building codes.

• Established network and good relationships within the design community in Vietnam.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive personality.

• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.

• Fluency in English (both verbal and written).

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

• (Preferred) Willingness to learn Korean.
