Senior Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting, Finance and Reporting

• Perform HQ reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and assist in the preparation of

financial statements and management reports.

• Maintain, prepare and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts with sub-ledger, ensuring

accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.

• Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and other finance

teams to ensure transactions are properly accounted for.

• Analyze monthly profit and loss performance by channel (Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale),

including gross profit and SG&A variances, and provide insights into key drivers.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and

applicable accounting standards.

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet

reconciliations and supporting schedules.

• Monitor accounting data to identify unusual transactions, trends, or variances and follow up with

relevant stakeholders for resolution.

• Perform annual fixed asset reviews and manage fixed asset reporting.

Taxes and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with statutory taxes (Corporate Tax, VAT, withholding tax), and audit

requirements, coordinating with external tax agent and auditors for the requirements.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation, schedules, and

explanations in a timely and accurate manner.

Process Improvement

• Assist in process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives within the

accounting and finance function, including UAT.

• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the superior.

• Minimally 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent qualifications.

• Professional accounting qualifications are preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).

• Meticulous, self-driven and a positive team player with a strong sense of ownership.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle & SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power BI is a plus.

• Ability to work under pressure to meet timelines and adapt to fast changing business environment.
