Job Summary

IBK Vietnam is seeking a Risk Management Staff to develop, implement and enhance the Bank’s risk management framework, with a primary focus on credit risk, debt classification and provisioning, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) calculation and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal policies and regulations related to credit risk management, debt classification and credit risk provisioning, and capital adequacy.

• Develop and implement tools and methodologies for credit risk management and CAR calculation and monitoring; develop stress testing scenarios and perform credit risk stress testing.

• Develop and manage risk limits related to credit risk and capital adequacy.

• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc internal and regulatory reports to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), within the scope of the Risk Management Department, relating to the credit portfolio and capital adequacy.

• Perform other duties of the Risk Management Department as assigned by the Head of Risk Management Department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics, Risk Management, Financial Mathematics or related fields.

• Experience in credit review is preferred.

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in banking or financial institutions, preferably in credit risk and CAR management.

• Practical experience in risk measurement, stress testing, risk limit monitoring and risk reporting is preferred.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Solid understanding of banking operations, risk management frameworks and relevant SBV regulations.

• Good knowledge of credit risk management and practical experience in CAR calculation.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• High level of professional integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Willingness to support junior staff and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
