• Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls.
• Updates market knowledge and aligns strategies and approaches accordingly.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies for Best Available Rate and other rate plans.
• Understands and communicates the value of the brand name as it relates to IHG franchise partnerships and revenue management opportunities.
• Establishes long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Coordinate pricing, promotions and offers with Sales & Marketing, Casino Marketing, Reservation, Hotel and The Bluffs team.
• Provide critical analysis of strategies, room's statistics and demand factors.
• Conduct competitive and demand analysis and recommend actions to improve The Grand’s position.
• Maintain distribution channel data integrity.
• Independently implements appropriate hotel inventory distribution strategy; maintains accurate rates and inventory allotments in all channels and property PMS in a timely manner to promote rate parity throughout all booking channels.
• Forecast on a regular basis to maximize revenue within the market condition.
• Evaluate and select potential gaming, wholesale, MICE and FIT business from all segments and sources.
• Loads all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS and PMS.
• Spearheads troubleshooting and resolution of any GDS rate loading issues as they occur.
• Analyzes independently and determines whether hotel is effectively marketing itself across electronic distribution channels.
• Participate and prepare rolling forecast and annual budget using PMS, supporting and forecasting tools.
• Ensure that all rooms statistics reports, including the Financial statement, and any other related reports are accurate and consistent.
• Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained including Cenium, Electronic channels and GDS.
• Manage all aspects of rate & inventory management as outlined in the services contract.
• Review reports and monitor all related business trends on a regular basis to make any revenue business-related decisions or recommend any appropriate action plans for all market segments to the Assistant Director of Revenue Management.
• Select and engage with any potential booking channels for revenue and exposure purposes.
• Ensure all information relating to the company, guests, data and reports are true and accurate in all systems and channels and all required tasks are completed with accuracy in a timely manner.
• Create a desired work culture and cooperation among colleagues and staff across other departments maintaining positive working relationships with all employees.
• Create and manages the training program of new hires to the revenue management team.
• Prepare training materials, training schedules, and systems training for the team members.
• Perform other jobs related to same functions and duties or assume other responsibilities and functions as assigned by management.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or other related fields.
• Years’ experience: 4-6 years of successful revenue management experience at a multi-property level.
• Skill: Excellent analytical skills and must fully comprehend the travel industry distribution landscape. This includes third party channels, GDS, central reservation systems and property management systems.
• Must have a well-groomed appearance: Pleasant personality with strong verbal and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Fluent in spoken and written: English, Vietnamese.
• Computer skill: Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making- Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; obtains and compares information from different sources to draw conclusions, develop and evaluate alternatives and solutions, solve problems, and choose a course of action.
• Others: Ability to lead initiatives and show skills in follow up, multi-tasking, leadership and accountability for team actions. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate ideas in verbal and written presentations.
