We are seeking a visionary Senior End-to-End Automation Software QA Engineer to transform our quality engineering landscape from our Ho Chi Minh City office. In this role, you will move beyond traditional scripting, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to design, build, and maintain a hyper-scalable, intelligent testing ecosystem. You will spearhead our transition from reactive defect detection to predictive quality engineering, utilizing generative AI for test creation, self-healing frameworks, and smart analytics.

Your mission is to ensure we can deliver complex, high-quality software at unprecedented speed and scale. You will collaborate closely onsite with local teams and virtually with global product, development, and DevOps teams to establish robust quality gates that protect our user experience without throttling release velocity

Your Skills and Experience

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• AI-Powered Automation Strategy: Design and implement next-generation automation frameworks utilizing AI/ML tools (e.g., AI-assisted code generation, self-healing test execution, and intelligent test selection) to drastically reduce test creation time and maintenance overhead.
• End-to-End Architecture: Architect comprehensive testing strategies that validate the entire tech stack—from front-end web and mobile interfaces down to APIs, backend microservices, and databases.
• Predictive Analytics & Metric Guardrails: Utilize machine learning evaluation metrics, observability tools, and anomaly detection to identify flakey tests, assess deployment risks, and optimize overall test coverage.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Seamlessly embed automated test suites into build and release pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to provide rapid, actionable feedback and enable continuous delivery at scale.
• Test Data & Environment Provisioning: Leverage generative AI to synthesize secure, edge-case-heavy test data at scale. Manage dynamic, containerized test environments to ensure reproducible execution.
• Technical Leadership & Global Collaboration: Act as the primary quality advocate across the engineering department. Coach junior engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and work closely with both the local HCMC office and international teams to champion shift-left testing methodologies.

Qualifications

Core Engineering & Automation

• Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development or quality engineering, with at least 3 years dedicated to building complex, end-to-end automation frameworks from scratch.
• Language Skills: Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken). You will be communicating daily with international stakeholders and global engineering hubs.
• Programming Proficiency: Expert-level coding skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript. You treat test code with the same rigor as production code.
• Framework Mastery: Deep expertise in modern UI and API automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, Appium, REST Assured).
• Infrastructure & Cloud: Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD orchestration, version control workflows, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

AI & Scale Specialization

• AI Tool Integration: Proven track record of adopting AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, specialized QA AI agents) to accelerate script writing, debug failures, or generate complex test scenarios.
• Data Validation: Strong understanding of data quality validation (schema checks, distribution shifts, missingness) to prevent model or application regressions caused by broken inputs.
• Performance & Scale: Experience designing test architecture capable of running thousands of distributed tests concurrently across cloud grids without false positives.

Soft Skills & Behavioral Attributes

• Analytical Judgment: Ability to interpret noisy signals, isolate root causes, and make reliable, data-driven go/no-go release decisions.
• Cross-Cultural Communication: Excellent ability to present quality assessments and testing strategies to both highly technical peers and non-technical stakeholders across diverse global teams.
• Pragmatism: A balanced approach to risk assessment—knowing when to block a release for a critical flaw and when to allow minor UI inconsistencies in favor of speed.
