1. Technical Support for C&I Rooftop Solar PV Project Development

1.1 Existing C&I Premises / Factories

• Communicate with clients to obtain historical electricity bills.

• Communicate with clients to obtain 15-minute or hourly load profiles.

• Communicate with clients to obtain relevant input data required for PVSyst simulations.

• Communicate with clients to obtain rooftop structural drawings.

• If structural drawings are unavailable, conduct a site visit and develop rooftop structural drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD.

• Conduct comprehensive rooftop site surveys to evaluate existing roof conditions, structural feasibility, shading impacts, and electrical tie-in points.

• Assess whether the existing rooftop requires alteration or structural reinforcement to meet the requirements for rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installation.

• Conduct site visits to prepare the solar PV layout.

• Create preliminary PV system layouts and 3D models using Autodesk AutoCAD and SketchUp.

• Determine the appropriate installed PV capacity.

• Conduct energy yield simulations using PVSyst and prepare production reports to support project feasibility assessments and financial modeling.

• Estimate the expected oversupply / curtailment (%).

1.2 C&I Premises / Factories Under Construction or Planned

• Communicate with clients to obtain relevant input data required for PVSyst simulations.

• Communicate with clients to obtain transformer quantity and rated power data.

• Communicate with clients to obtain the equipment inventory and rated power data.

• Determine the appropriate installed PV capacity.

• Conduct energy yield simulations and estimate the expected oversupply / curtailment (%).

2. Project Development Phase & Preliminary Engineering

2.1 Site Surveys

Conduct comprehensive site visits to evaluate:

• Roof conditions and structural feasibility.

• Potential shading impacts.

• Electrical tie-in points.

• Site conditions relevant to PV system installation.

2.2 Preliminary Design

• Create early-stage PV system layouts and 3D models using Autodesk AutoCAD and SketchUp.

• Develop preliminary technical designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable technical standards.

2.3 Yield Estimation

• Conduct energy yield simulations using PVSyst.

• Prepare detailed energy production reports to support project feasibility assessments and financial modeling.

• Assess expected system performance and potential oversupply / curtailment.

2.4 EPC Engineering Review

Review, redline, and approve engineering documents submitted by the EPC contractor, including:

• Shop drawings.

• Single-line diagrams (SLDs).

• Bills of materials (BOMs).

• Technical specifications.

• Structural and electrical engineering drawings.

• Ensure all EPC engineering documents are aligned with company technical standards and investor requirements.

3. Construction Phase

3.1 Commercial and Contractual Management

• Understand and review the key terms and conditions of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

• Participate in the evaluation and appointment of EPC contractors.

• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts in accordance with the company's standard contract template.

• Provide technical input during commercial and contractual negotiations where required.

3.2 EPC Contractor Oversight

• Manage and coordinate external EPC contractors throughout the construction phase.

• Ensure EPC contractors obtain all necessary permits, approvals, and licenses.

• Monitor EPC contractor performance against:

• Project schedule.

• Approved budget.

• Technical specifications.

• Contract requirements.

• Key performance milestones.

• Hold EPC contractors accountable for compliance with contractual and technical requirements.

3.3 Quality and HSE Compliance

• Establish and implement the quality control program for project construction.

• Review material specifications, shop drawings, and construction methodologies to ensure site activities comply with company technical requirements.

• Conduct or coordinate quality inspections throughout the construction process.

• Strictly monitor and enforce all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site.

• Ensure the EPC contractor maintains a safe working environment and complies with applicable

HSE regulations and company standards.

3.4 Financial & Budget Control

• Oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) tracking throughout project execution.

• Monitor and update cash flow projections.

• Review and certify milestone payment claims in accordance with the EPC contract.

• Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget.

• Coordinate and ensure completion of final project closeout documentation.

3.5 Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate effectively among key project stakeholders, including:

• Customer / Offtaker.

• EPC contractor.

• Internal technical and project teams.

• Other relevant project stakeholders.

• Ensure that project design and construction activities comply with customer requirements, contractual obligations, applicable regulations, and technical standards.

• Facilitate resolution of technical and construction-related issues between the customer and EPC contractor.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Project

Management, or a related discipline.

3.2 Industry Experience

• At least 5 years of engineering or project management experience.

• At least 3 years of experience specifically in rooftop solar PV projects.

• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an advantage.

3.3 Software Proficiency

Highly proficient in:

• PVSyst

• Autodesk AutoCAD

• SketchUp

3.4 Technical Acumen

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and critically review structural and electrical engineering drawings submitted by EPC contractors.

• Proficient in:

– AC/DC cable sizing calculations.

– ACB/MCCB selection.

– Earthing system calculations.

– PV system layout and preliminary design.

– Solar energy yield analysis using PVSyst.

• Strong understanding of rooftop PV system engineering, construction, and electrical integration.

3.5 Contractor Management

• Proven experience acting as the Owner's or Investor's Representative.

• Ability to effectively manage and coordinate EPC contractors.

• Ability to confidently hold EPC contractors accountable for compliance with:

– Contract specifications.

– Approved technical designs.

– Quality requirements.

– Project schedule.

– HSE requirements.

3.6 Soft Skills
