About Neo Chair

Neo Chair is a U.S.-based furniture and seating company headquartered in California that designs, manufactures, and ships office and home seating to customers across North America. We own our manufacturing: two factories in Vietnam with capacity of over 200 containers per month, an in-house parts program, and a supply base across China, Vietnam and Indonesia. Our warehouses in Southern California, Texas, Georgia and New Jersey receive product directly from the ports. We are growing quickly and expanding into new product categories, and our Vietnam operation is at the center of that growth.

The Role

We are looking for a sharp, hands-on planner to sit alongside our Vietnam factories and own the weekly rhythm that turns orders into shipped containers. You will be the single point of accountability for four living plans: the weekly production plan, the weekly material readiness plan, the weekly container stuffing plan, and the weekly shipping plan.

These plans do not stay still. Manufacturing feasibility shifts, carriers change schedules and space, ocean freight rates move, and sales priorities in the U.S. change week to week. Your job is to keep all four plans aligned to reality, replan fast when something moves, and make sure HQ in Korea, our U.S. sales and warehouse teams, and the factory floor are always working from the same picture. This is a project-management role as much as a planning role: you will be coordinating many moving parts under time pressure and driving them to a clean weekly result.

What You Will Own

• Weekly production plan. Build and maintain the weekly production schedule with factory management, balancing sales demand, capacity, labor, and line changeovers; flag risks early and propose alternatives.

• Weekly material readiness. Track incoming parts and materials from suppliers in China and Vietnam against the production schedule; chase late items, manage purchase orders, and keep material arrival dates accurate so lines never wait on parts.

• Weekly stuffing plan. Plan which finished goods go into which containers and when, working with warehouse and loading teams to maximize container utilization and hit cut-off dates.

• Weekly shipping plan. Manage carrier bookings, vessel schedules, and documentation with freight forwarders and carriers; adjust for space constraints, rate changes, and rolled bookings; keep ETDs/ETAs accurate for the U.S. team.

• Communication hub. Be the daily bridge between the factory floor, suppliers, forwarders, Korea HQ procurement, and U.S. sales and warehouse teams — in English, with clear written updates.

• Data and reporting. Keep PO, production, inventory, and shipment data current and accurate in our systems and trackers; publish a concise weekly status report with risks and decisions needed.

• Samples and compliance. Coordinate sample production, product certifications, and customer-specific requirements alongside regular production.

• Continuous improvement. Identify recurring bottlenecks in the plan-to-ship process and lead fixes with the factory and HQ.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years in production planning, supply chain, procurement, or export logistics in a manufacturing environment — furniture, seating, or similar assembled products strongly preferred.

• Proven experience managing complex, fast-changing schedules with many stakeholders; you are calm and organized when the plan changes on a Wednesday afternoon.

• Working knowledge of ocean export: carrier bookings, container loading, cut-offs, shipping documents, and how freight rates and space affect planning.

• Comfortable working directly with suppliers in China and Vietnam on delivery dates, quality issues, and PO changes.

• Fluent business English, written and spoken; you will communicate daily with Korean and U.S. colleagues. Korean or Chinese is a plus.

• Strong with Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP or planning systems is a plus.

• Ownership mindset: you take responsibility for the outcome, not just the task, and you raise problems early with a proposed solution.
