We are looking for a Partner Relationship professional to develop and grow relationships with banks and partners in the payment industry. This role offers opportunities to gain valuable exposure to the banking and card payment industry, with attractive benefits including family premium insurance and a dedicated training budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to expand JCB's partner network and acquire new partners.

• Drive business growth with existing partners by identifying opportunities to expand business areas and sales volume.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners to support successful and sustainable business development.

• Negotiate with partner candidates and existing partners to encourage timely implementation and expansion of JCB business.

• Develop and execute plans for new JCB rules, products, services and business initiatives in cooperation with partners.

• Support partners in system setup, operation and implementation matters, working closely with relevant JCB teams in Tokyo.

• Monitor and analyze the banking and card payment industry, partner needs and competitors to identify business opportunities and support JCB's business activities.

• Collaborate with Marketing and relevant teams to develop and communicate promotions and brand services to partners.

• Coordinate assigned projects and budgets to maximize business effectiveness.

• Assist senior officers in assigned business activities and contribute to the development of team capabilities.

Must-have Requirements

• Bachelor’s or College degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, International Business or other related fields.

• At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Partner Relationship, Account Management or related roles.

• Experience in card portfolio management, partner relationship management, or card center operations within a bank.

• Good English communication (No Japanese required).

• Punctual, independent and proactive with a positive attitude toward work.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience in banking, financial services, credit card, payment or fintech industries.

• Candidates with experience in domestic banks are preferred.

• Knowledge of banking/payment systems or related operations.

• Good command of MS Office and business applications.

• Experience in coordinating new product, service or system implementation projects.
