2. Job Information

- Position: Playable Ads Developer

- Nationality: Vietnam

- Working Location: Hanoi

- Working Days: 5 days per week (Monday – Friday)

- Working Hours: 8 hours per day

- Working Arrangement: Flexible working hours

- Annual Salary: USD 9,000 – 18,000

- Contract Period: 12 months

3. Job Responsibilities

- Analyze the core game loop and assets from existing Unity-based titles to refactor them into high-performance HTML5 interactive ads.

- Create lightweight web builds (optimizing file size to meet ad network standards: under 5MB).

- Ensure compliance with mobile in-app webview standards and ensure compatibility with major ad networks (AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Mintegral, TikTok, Google, etc.).

- Build a pipeline to generate single HTML files customized for each channel.

- Collaborate with Performance Marketers and 2D/3D Designers to rapidly develop diverse creatives for A/B testing (adjusting variables, modifying visual effects).

- Leverage AI tools for code generation, asset conversion, and development time reduction.

Education

Experience & Technical Requirements

• Experience developing with HTML5-based game engines (Phaser, PixiJS, Cocos2d-x, Three.js, etc.) or Unity-based game projects (C#).
• Understanding of DOM/WebGL rendering mechanisms.
• Ability to manage memory, optimize frame rates (FPS), and improve script execution speed in mobile web environments.
• Experience minimizing asset size (e.g., texture compression, sprite sheet management, sound pipeline optimization).
• Ability to handle fragmentation issues and touch events across iOS Safari, Android Chrome, and various mobile in-app webviews.
• Experience proactively applying AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to workflows to maximize efficiency in refactoring and logic development.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience using the Unity Playworks playable ad production solution (formerly Luna Playable).
• Basic understanding of key playable ad marketing metrics (CTR, CVR, IPM, D0 Retention, etc.) and A/B testing processes.
• Ability to create highly interactive and immersive user experiences using Tween animations, particle systems, and visual effects.
• Ability to draft technical documentation, such as project technical specifications, build guides, and channel-specific troubleshooting documentation.
• Strong professional communication skills (Korean or English).
