What you will do

Be part of every stage of delivery, from the first requirement to release, and own the quality we build into everything we ship.

• Take ownership of testing your features from specification to tested release, and ask early when something is unclear
• Decide what to test, how deeply, and what to automate, and own the test approach for a feature or workstream end to end as your scope grows
• Design and run test cases, automate the repeatable checks, and report defects with the steps and evidence engineers need to act
• Join planning and refinement sessions, write test plans and acceptance criteria with analysts and engineers, and challenge requirements that cannot be tested
• Maintain automation that the team trusts and can extend
• Review AI-generated test cases, test data, and test artifacts, keep what holds up, and own the call on what is ready to ship
• Coach newer quality engineers through reviews and pairing as your experience grows

 

Your Skills and Experience

What you bring

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in software testing. 
  • For senior scope, 5+ years in software quality, including 2+ years independently owning the testing of a feature or work stream
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• English proficiency: equivalent to B2 in all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), especially speaking
• AI proficiency: Practitioner level at minimum, meaning you follow the rules for safe use of data with AI, verify AI output against its source, give tools the context they need, and keep human-in-the-loop oversight on your own judgment calls. For senior scope, Independent level, meaning you apply AI to hard, ambiguous work, handle safe use of data beyond the stated rules, scale verification to risk, and decide where AI stops, keeping human-in-the-loop oversight even under deadline pressure

Skills

• Applied experience in, growing to full ownership of:
  • quality strategy and analysis: defect and risk analysis for your feature
  • test planning and specification, including writing test cases from a specification
  • test cycles, test execution, and release readiness
  • pipelines, environments, and test data: version control, CI pipelines, and test environments
  • how you work (communication, collaboration, learning, problem solving, integrity)
• Applied experience in:
  • manual, functional, exploratory, API, and automated testing
  • working across roles and with clients, including developers and analysts

Strong advantage

• Experience working with US clients
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or life sciences
• Experience writing for regulated or audited environments
