Role Description

The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for managing assigned brands and categories, developing merchandising strategies, and driving sales growth, profitability, and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned brands, primarily across Liquor, Tobacco, and Wine, with potential scope expansion to other categories based on business needs.
• Develop and optimize product assortments, product mix, and pricing strategies based on market trends, customer insights, and sales performance.
• Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, OTB, gross margin, and inventory strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiations, securing favorable commercial terms and supporting product sourcing and supply continuity.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, private label, and exclusive product opportunities to enhance brand differentiation and sales performance.
• Collaborate with the Korea Corporate Merchandising Team, Store Operations, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure effective execution of merchandising initiatives.
• Monitor brand and category performance, prepare business reports, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Vietnam Customs regulations.

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Work Experience: 5–7 years of merchandising, buying, retail, or related experience, with direct experience in brand/category management and buying.
• Equipment/Tools: Office equipment, MS Office programs (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and SKU/product database systems.

• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills;
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders;
• Fluent in English both written and verbal communication.
