KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on rotating, static, utility and lifting equipment, including pumps, compressors, diesel engines, valves, piping, hydraulic systems, HVAC, cranes and winches.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs under Engineers’/Supervisors’ guidance, coordinating with vendors when required.
• Carry out inspections, dismantling/reassembly, alignment, lubrication and replacement of components such as seals, bearings and valve trims.
• Use hand tools, machine tools and workshop equipment; support fabrication and modification works as required.
• Update Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) records and logbooks, promptly report defects, and coordinate spare-parts ordering, receipt and return between offshore facilities and the onshore base with the Material Controller.
• Support offshore crane operations when assigned, including loading/unloading, deck lifting and personnel-basket transfers, in compliance with safety requirements.
• Comply with HSE requirements, participate in emergency response teams and complete required safety training on time.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in oil and gas or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, diesel engines, motors, fans and blowers), static equipment (pressure vessels, piping and valves), hydraulic systems, and lifting appliances (cranes, winches and lifting gear).
• Workshop skills in electric/oxy-acetylene welding and machine tools (lathe, drilling and grinding); rigging/slinging skills are an advantage.
• Crane and rigging certification preferred; able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in CMMS (Maximo preferred) and Microsoft Office; able to communicate in basic written and spoken English and read technical documents.
• Medically fit for offshore rotational work, with strong HSE awareness and a compliance mindset.
