•    Conduct legal and case-law research; prepare legal memoranda that feed directly into case strategy
•    Review and organise evidence bundles; build case chronologies and evidence cross-reference tables
•    Draft statements of claim, witness statements, written submissions and correspondence with courts, tribunals and opposing counsel
•    Summarise and analyse judgments and arbitral awards; contribute to our internal case-law database
•    Attend court hearings, arbitration sessions and client meetings; take and prepare working minutes
•    Prepare hearing bundles and Vietnamese–English translations of procedural documents
•    Take part in internal case strategy sessions and mock hearings

Essential

•      Third- or fourth-year law student, or a recent law graduate

•      GPA of 7.5/10 (or 3.0/4.0) or above

•      English: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent; strong reading comprehension of English-language legal materials

•      Precise Vietnamese legal writing, with rigorous reasoning and accurate statutory citation

•      Proficiency in Word (formatting, automatic tables of contents) and basic Excel; competent legal database and legislation research

•      A stable, reliable time commitment for the full duration of the internship

Preferred

•      Achievements in moot court competitions (VIAC Mediation & Arbitration Moot, Vis, Vis East, FDI Moot, national or university-level competitions)

•      Published research papers, journal articles or conference contributions

•      Prior internship at a court, a procuracy, or a law firm with a litigation practice

•      Additional Chinese, Japanese or Korean

•      Diligence and hard work: consistent attendance, punctuality, and the stamina to work through large volumes of documents. Litigation has no shortcuts — most results come from reading carefully what everyone else skimmed

•      Initiative: proposing research angles of your own, asking when something is unclear, reporting progress without being chased, and delivering ahead of the deadline rather than on it

•      Precision: a misstated article of law or a miscalculated limitation date can lose the case

•      Critical thinking: the willingness to identify weaknesses in your own reasoning and in your supervisor's

•      Discipline about deadlines — in litigation, deadlines are set by law, not by agreement
