ROLE OVERVIEW

• We are looking for an AI Developer with strong hands-on experience in LLM-based systems, RAG architectures, and production-grade AI solutions. You will design, build, and deploy AI-driven features that deliver concrete business value, ranging from intelligent assistants and agentic workflows to document-based reasoning systems and AI-powered automation.
• You will work closely with product, platform, and business stakeholders to translate complex domain problems into scalable, secure, and maintainable AI solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• AI & Application Development
• Design, implement, and deploy LLM-powered applications, including chatbots, copilots, and AI agents.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and structured knowledge sources.
• Develop agentic workflows for multi-step reasoning and automation where single-prompt LLM usage is insufficient.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms via REST-based microservices.
• Architecture & Platform
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, production-ready AI systems.
• Integrate multiple LLM providers (cloud and/or local models) in a unified application layer.
• Ensure data security, access control, and privacy-aware AI design, especially for enterprise or client-sensitive environments.
• MLOps & Engineering Quality
• Containerise and deploy AI services using Docker and cloud-native tooling.
• Implement monitoring for latency, errors, token usage, and system health.
• Apply software engineering best practices: clean code, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Collaborate in code reviews and contribute to shared technical standards.
• Collaboration & Impact
• Work closely with stakeholders to align AI solutions with real business needs.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non technical audiences when needed.
• Contribute ideas on how AI can improve workflows, products, and decision-making.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Core Technical Skills
• Strong Python proficiency for AI and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering and system-level design.
• Solid experience with RAG architectures and vector databases (e.g. pgvector or similar).
• Experience building APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and cloud deployment (Azure and/or AWS).
• AI & ML Stack
• Frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Experience with NLP, transformers, deep learning, or applied ML.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, document processing, or conversational AI is a strong plus.
• Engineering Practices
• Experience working with microservices, integrations, and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, version control, and collaborative development.
• Ability to build maintainable, production-quality systems, not just prototypes.
• Nice to Have
• Experience with agent-based architectures (multi-agent or tool-using agents).
• Experience deploying local LLMs for privacy-sensitive or on prem environments.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (Terraform, AWS services, Azure Databricks, Kubernetes).
• Frontend or full-stack exposure (NodeJS, Vue, Typescript) is a plus
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
