OnSky is seeking a hardware engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing and manufacturing of electronic components. A responsible person should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable in the global working environment.
Responsibilities

• Design and develop (schematic and PCB layout) for IoT products.
• Test and debug circuits.
• Work with components suppliers to develop products form the prototype stage to mass production.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate with manufacturers for PCB/PCBA fabrication.
• Manage device production.
• Work on wireless, BLE, IoT products.
• Work closely with Embedded Developer to support the development of the applications.

Your Skills and Experience We Expect

• 1-2 years experiences in hardware.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
• Ability to use 2D and 3D tools for components library management.
• Understanding of basic communication protocols: USB, UART, SPI, I2C…
• Proficiency in circuit testing, measurement and debugging using instrument such as oscilloscopes, power supplies…
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, effective panning abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with the full product development lifecycle is an advantage.
• Experience with wireless devices (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth...).
• Good English communications skills.
• Self-motivated, has a strong sense of ownership and is a good team player. Being able to handle multiple tasks at once and work independently with minimal managerial oversight.

Nice to have

• Capable of reading and understanding hardware schematics, and interface specifications.
• Working knowledge of Power Line Communication.
• Working knowledge with IoT (Internet of Things) devices is a big plus.
• Working knowledge of WIFI, BLE products.
• Time management skills to complete assigned tasks within strict deadlines.
