General Description:

The role is responsible for overseeing raw material inventory operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely inventory flow in compliance with company SOPs, customer requirements, safety standards, 5S, and RBA requirements. The role supervises and develops the team, manages operational resources, monitors inventory performance, resolves discrepancies, supports customer requirements, and drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

-        Lead and supervise daily raw material inventory activities, including stock put-away, counting, replenishment, pick-face management, inventory status control, shelf-life management, discrepancy resolution, and other customer/factory requirements as applicable.

-        Ensure inventory activities and transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with SOPs, customer requirements, safety standards, 5S, and company regulations.

-        Lead, motivate, and develop the inventory team through effective supervision, coaching, and performance management, ensuring team members are trained on updated processes and competent to perform their roles.

-        Support recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and retention of team members.

-        Monitor inventory accuracy and operational performance, identify variances and root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

-        Prepare and provide accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and operational reports.

-        Plan manpower and operational resources to ensure business continuity during peak periods, holidays, and changing business requirements.

-        Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to address operational requests, issues, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

-        Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize resources and operating costs, improve service quality, and close operational gaps.

-        Proactively escalate significant operational issues to management and follow up on appropriate corrective actions.

-        Conduct daily operational audits and ensure compliance with RBA requirements, including appropriate corrective and preventive actions where required.

-        Perform other duties as assigned by management.

-        Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations, inventory control, and process improvement.

-        Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented and professional mindset.

-        Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong SAP/WMS experience.

-        Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

-        Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation and adapt to changing work schedules as required by business operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

-        Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

-        Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in raw material warehouse, inventory management, or related operations, including at least 1 year of experience at Supervisor level or above.

-        Strong hands-on experience in inventory control and SAP/WMS.

-        Experience in team supervision, manpower planning, and operational performance management.

-        Experience in process improvement and working in a manufacturing or logistics environment is preferred.
