Game Designer / VR - Unity | Multiplayer Game | High Salary, Job Now

We are a Creative Technology Studio based in Ho Chi Minh City, specializing in immersive digital experiences, VR, games, and interactive media.

We collaborate with top-tier professionals across North America to develop innovative products at the forefront of Virtual Reality and interactive technology.

Our team is currently developing a VR Multiplayer Game built in Unity for Meta Quest, combining engaging gameplay, expressive characters, and immersive environments. This is a flagship project within a world-leading VR content ecosystem.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Design and own game features from concept to completion.

- Write clear Game Design Documents (GDDs) including rules, mechanics, variables, and edge cases.

- Design levels, maps, POIs, gameplay flow, and player experience.

- Create greybox/blockout levels in Unity using basic tools or ProBuilder.

- Design and balance gameplay systems, combat, TTK, healing, loot, and item economy.

- Create simple UX wireframes and VR interaction flows.

- Analyze existing games and turn insights into design decisions.

- Work closely with Engineering, Art, QA, and Producer.

- Join playtests, review feedback, and improve gameplay.

- Identify risks early and take ownership of delivering features on time.

- 3+ years of Game Design experience with at least 1 shipped game.

- Strong knowledge of Game Design, Level Design, Gameplay Mechanics, and Game Balancing.

- Experience writing clear GDDs that developers can implement.

- Able to create greybox/blockout levels in Unity.

- Comfortable working with numbers for game balancing and systems design.

- Able to create basic UX wireframes and interaction flows.

- Strong ownership, autonomy, problem-solving, and proactive mindset.

- Good teamwork and communication skills.

- Good English: Working, both written and spoken.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with VR / AR / XR, especially Meta Quest.

- Experience with Shooter, Battle Royale, Multiplayer, or Live-Service Games.

- Experience in Systems Design / Economy Design.

- Unity experience with Prefabs, ScriptableObjects, or prototyping.

- Experience with playtesting and player data/telemetry.
