Meishang Cosmetics Vietnam is a subsidiary of the Meishang group, owner of the COLORKEY cosmetics brand. We are currently digitizing our field sales operations with a Distribution Management System (DMS) and Livestream commerce management system. You will take part from design to operations, working closely with the sales and operations teams so that the product is used every day in the field.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Development

• Build and customize DocTypes, Workflows, Reports, and Print Formats on the Frappe Framework.
• Develop robust backend features in Python (server scripts, REST APIs, background jobs).
• Build modern web and mobile interfaces using JavaScript, Vue.js, or Frappe UI.
• Design key sales modules, including orders, sales routes, outlet check-in, promotions, and inventory management.

2. Integration & Operations

• Integrate the DMS with ERP and external systems via REST APIs.
• Optimize database queries and ensure system performance and stability under high concurrent user loads.
• Deploy, monitor, and upgrade system infrastructure using Bench, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write technical documentation, support end-users, and handle live operational incidents.

3. Teamwork & Collaboration

• Clarify functional requirements directly with sales, operations, and accounting teams.
• Participate in code reviews, share technical knowledge, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Proactively propose process and technology improvements to scale the system efficiently.

Must Have

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Core Tech: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Database: Solid knowledge of MariaDB or MySQL, including query optimization.
• Foundations: Strong understanding of REST APIs, Git, and team workflows.
• Language: Ability to read and write technical documentation in English.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Python-based ERP systems (e.g., ERPNext / Frappe).
• Experience building or working on DMS, SFA, ERP, or sales and distribution management systems.
• Background in the Cosmetics, FMCG, or Retail industries.
• Experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) or mobile applications.
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools: Redis, Docker, Nginx, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Chinese or English for smooth collaboration with the group headquarters team.
