A. Role

Handle the daily operational activities in the application laboratory - preparing evaluation samples for internal teams and external clients, conducting stability testing and managing base stock. Support other activities as assigned by R&D Fragrance Manager.

B. Key Responsibilities

1. Sample Preparation & Testing

• Prepare application samples across Fabric Care, Home Care, Personal Care and Fine Fragrance categories, in line with each project's specific requirements.

• Prioritize and coordinate with Evaluator and Sales for multiple sample requests according to project timelines and customer submission deadlines, ensuring on-time delivery with careful attention to detail.

• Prepare evaluation samples for internal teams and customers, following standard testing protocols. Perform quick olfactive checks to confirm sample quality before delivery.

• Conduct stability tests in line with project requirements. Maintain accurate records of samples, test results for traceability.

• Support consumer tests by preparing samples, coordinating logistics and ensuring samples are ready on schedule.

2. Technical Support

• Identify technical issues that may arise in the application and propose solutions.

• Support the R&D Manager and team in troubleshooting and refining application methods.

3. Materials & Stock Management

• Manage internal and client base stock to ensure sufficient quantity for sample preparation.

• Safely operate, maintain and organize lab equipment and consumables.

4. Lab Standards & Continuous Improvement

• Keep the lab clean and tidy, especially at the end of each work session.

• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of work processes, including base formula improvement, for better quality and efficiency.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or another lab-relevant field.

• About 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment - fresh graduates with strong lab coursework may also be considered.

• Careful, meticulous and precise when weighing materials and operating lab equipment.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage work effectively.

• Good coordination and teamwork skills.

• Experience with base formulation is an advantage

• Good sense of smell and ability to distinguish scent nuances, to support quick olfactive quality checks.

• Basic English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
