Position title: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Section/ Department: Finance & Accounting Division

Reporting line: Head of Finance & Accounting Vietnam

Job responsibilities

1) Financial Planning & Forecasting:

- Work with Group Office to drive and manage the annual budget and financial forecast models for Vietnam; long range plans, annual plans, monthly rolling forecasts, covering P&L, balance sheet, product portfolios and product KPIs

- Monitor business performance against budget and forecast targets.

- Present various management reports that highlight key financial findings, deviations and recommendations to Senior Management in Vietnam and Thailand on financial implications of proposed investments and/or transactions, marketing activity and promotional spend

- Prepare weekly, monthly financial reports along with actionable analyses by country, beverage category, brand, and channel, to evaluate profitability and spend effectiveness

2) Business Performance Analysis:

- Act as a key business partner and work closely with cross functional teams to ensure that monthly forecasts are supported by up-to-date business assumptions, while also responding to ad hoc requests from cross-functional teams.

- Identify risks and opportunities impacting business performance. Provide strategic recommendations on ways to enhance business performance to achieve KPIs

- Conduct variance analysis on volume, price, mix, promotion, and cost drivers. Monitor SG&A, A&P, and operational expenditures

- Ensure financial alignment between all commercial and supporting functions via effective communication to maximize financial results and achieve timely and accurate financial forecasting and reporting.

3) Strategic Business Support:

- Build business cases for strategic initiatives and new product launches

- Support market expansion, investment, and productivity projects

- Participate in scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. Prepare executive presentations and financial insights for senior leadership

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or related fields

Work experience

- 7-10+ years of FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Finance Business Partnering experience.

- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, or Retail industries preferred.

- Strong experience supporting Sales and Marketing functions.

- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.

Skills and knowledge

- Hands-on experience with business analysis, planning, reporting, finance and cost analyses

- Ability to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence senior leaders through data-driven recommendations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Results driven and comfortable working independently while also being a team player

- Effective presentation and communication skills

- Proficient in SAP, Excel and other MS Office applications, Think cell

- Fluent in English
