MISSION:

• Member of the Group Business Development team that contributes to create and pursue Company Vision, Mission, Objectives, and Strategies, while having an appropriate level and Corporate Governance.
• Support strategic objectives for CRV business plan. 
• Conduct Strategic market Insights and site assessments to identify and evaluate opportunities for new shopping commercial sites (GO! Mall, Food Retails, mini go!, New Concept Mall, Crocs, Dyson, Supersport, Kubo) and renovation projects.
• Drive and steer data-informed expansion strategies to optimize retail footprint and enhance market penetration in Vietnam, while aligning with regional objectives and supporting sustainable business growth.
• Oversee continuous research and analysis of urban and rural development trends, demographic shifts, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic indicators to evaluate their implications on Vietnam’s retail and distribution landscape.

ACTIVITIES:

Strategic Market Analysis and Site Assessment:

• Conducting market research survey, sites assessment, sales estimation, competitor analysis for all new and renovation projects to identify potential cities and locations.
• Set up and review process for benchmarking site assessment reporting. Review ex-approved projects and site assessments with good scores.
• Ensuring a strong local database including retail market (mainly food business and shopping center), consumer demographics, new infrastructure, new residential developments, future competition and land auctions data.
• Identifying the right target market and customer segment to support tenant mix and branding strategy by conducting both quantitative and qualitative surveys.
• Clearly and strategically define new and major renovation projects (Create “winning strategy”).
• Monitor and communicate relevant retail market news and developments.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Organizing and attending external meetings, with support from expansion, to meet Landlords, real estate owner projects, real estate’s developers, and external consultants and partners hired by the Company (if required) to ensure that the goals are met.
• Other activities according to job requirements and assigned by superiors.

COMPETENCIES:

Functional knowledge & experience:

• Knowledge of real estate market, retail market, retail concepts, specific retailers, regional and local shopping habits.
• Knowledgeable of Vietnamese administrative system and urban planning.
• Knowledgeable of working with multiple business intelligence tools and market tools such as: Nielsen, Kantar, Euromonitor, ArcGIS, CII
• Experience working within an agile and fast-paced environment.

Functional skill:

• Ability to elaborate action strategy based on situation analysis. Attention to detail, highly organized, quick thinking and solution-oriented.
• Ability to find, analyse, predict, and develop realizable projects. Excellent analytical and market research abilities
• Strong analytical skills with experience managing multiple reports simultaneously.
• Self-starter with capacity to work independently
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND & ATTITUDE

• Education: University bachelor's degree as a minimum
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position of market research
• Attitudes & skills: Able to work independently and under pressure, strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, decision making. Strong in strategic planning and organization. 
• Language: Strong verbal and written English skills
• Computer skills: MS Office, Mapping program (eg. Google Earth, Google Maps, ArcGis, CII, etc.)
• Others: Deep understanding of the Vietnam retail and real estate market.
