Who we are

· MOLEX, a brand under KOCH Industries with its headquarters in Wichita, Kansas (USA), is one of the world’s leading interconnector manufacturers.

· Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high-tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

Scope:

The following responsibilities for assigned Koch facilities and/or companies within Vietnam and other APAC jurisdictions, as assigned.

Work independently and report to APAC ERC Director

Responsibilities:

• Proactively track and monitor emerging changes and trends in labor/employment laws and HR best practices; conduct research and develop legal opinions/interpretations of such updates.

• Conduct impact and risk analysis of regulatory / legal updates pertaining to labor/ employment laws, applying critical and economic thinking; provide recommendations for updates to HR policies and practices accordingly.

• As applicable to the role scope, develop and/or edit HR policies, guidelines, and templates; harmonize existing policies and templates where it creates value; conduct enterprise harmonization activities, projects and needs.

• Provide HR Compliance advisory support to HR; develop recommendations with a risk-adjusted lens.

• Provide knowledge sharing, including case study, lessons learned from challenging employee relations cases and HR Compliance gaps, investigation training.

• Conduct and/or support internal employment and labor audits of HR practices and support HR’s implementation of actions as per audit findings.

• Create, develop, and facilitate labor/employment capability building materials for HRs/ Supervisors based on Koch compliance requirement, employment law updates, observations, and business needs.

• Conduct investigations and provide employee relations support or consultations

• Be viewed as a preferred, collaborative partner by HR teams; achieve strong business acumen to incorporate unique business needs into recommendations.

Working location:

Hanoi factory: Thang Long industrial zone, Thien Loc commune, Hanoi (shuttle bus from Vinh Phuc/ Hanoi)

or Hung Yen factory: Thang long II industrial zone, Duong Hao ward, Hung Yen (shuttle bus from Hanoi/ Hai Duong/ Bac Ninh)

• Advanced understanding of Vietnam’s employment laws and HR practices

• Good English (4 skills)

• Strong learning, critical thinking and analytical skills

• Capability of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and completing assignments in a timely and efficient manner meanwhile find balance between current work and assignments

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail

• Ability to develop positive and collaborative relationships

• Ability to articulate issues, develop a point of view, and provide recommendations using a risk-based approach; ability to influence
